Beginner for Basic English Grammar

  Today we going to know how to use Singular and  Plural
Singular

  • has only 1 thing
  • Noun must not have s or es in the end

Plural

  • have 2 or more things
  • Noun must have s or es


This is the rule of using s or es

Singular or Plural?

Fill the gaps with the correct form of the nouns.

Example: They ate some (tomato) . They ate some tomatoes.
You can put (sugar)  in your tea.
We have to buy new (furniture) .
I need to wash my (hair) .
We had lots of (fun) .
The Milfords have a lot of (money) .
How many (people)  were at the cinema with you?
Could you give some (information)  on your project?
In this hotel, (family)  are very welcome.
Those (man)  seem to be very tired.

You can do all this exercise and sent it to me for checking your answer.
